BackgroundrnThe Castle was first mentioned in documents from the year 912; the discoveryrnof a Roman wall under the Castle confirms a much older age. The Estate has been restored from 1996 to 2001, totally renewing its infrastructure and creating 14 residences, an underground garage, as well as an exclusive swimming pool.
All of the residences were sold to an Italian and international clientele, who use their homes for vacation purposes only and can not rent them to others. Furthermore, a state-of-the-art wine cellar and a high-level restaurant were rncompleted in 2001.
